Located
just three blocks from Camden Yards, The Babe Ruth
Birthplace and Museum pays tribute to "The Sultan
of Swat". Built inside the townhouse where
Babe was born, this National Historic Site is also the
home of the Baltimore Orioles Museum.
In honor of the
Babe's 100th birthday this summer, The Babe Ruth
Birthplace and Museum has created a new, permanent exhibit
dedicated to Babe's years in Baltimore.
"The Babe
From Baltimore" exhibit features photos, text,
artifacts and audio highlights, focusing on Babe's
formative years in Baltimore -- from his
German/English ancestry to the stormy relationship between
Babe and his father.
