PERMANENT EXHIBITS
ASTEROIDS IN THE ATRIUM - View models of both the
Near-Earth Asteroid Rendezvous (NEAR) spacecraft and an asteroid
presented to USC by The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics
Laboratory. The massive models are suspended "in
space" in the Science Center's central atrium A video

BEYOND NUMBERS - Enter the playful,
creative world of modern mathematics in this cutting edge
exhibit which shows visitors how math enriches and explains the
world in which we live
CHESAPEAKE BAY- Discover the history and life of Maryland’s
most precious natural resource. Learn about the widely
diversified inhabitants of the bay area and the equally
diversified aspects of their home
DINO DIGS - A unique look at native Maryland dinosaurs,
Astrodon johnstoni, in particular. Named Maryland's official
state dinosaur in October 1998, this exhibit provides visitors a
hands-on look at a world dating more than 10O million years ago.

ENERGY - Use your body to manipulate energy in a series
of exciting exhibits that spark, crackle, spin, and glow
SCIENCE ARCADE - Science is not magic, but it sure is fun
in this unusual arcade. Dozens of hands on experiments probe
sight, sound, magnetism, light and mechanics.
OUTER SPACE PLACE -How far can you see? The Hubble Space
Telescope lets us see farther into the depths of space than ever
before Discover the universe in our Hubble Space Telescope
National Visitor Center. Witness the birth and death of stars,
explore distant galaxies as they form, and see the planets of
our solar system up close.
