The Brewer’s art has a gourmet and light menu that fits
perfectly with an impressive stock of European beers. In
addition to the numerous imported beers, the Brewer’s Art has
an extensive wine list as well as its own selection of home
brews. This place has a romantic atmosphere, complete with
fireplace, dim lights and hardwood floors. However, the 2-story
restaurant and bar also has a basement, which attracts an
eclectic local crowd. As the upstairs is for the quiet beer
connoisseur, the basement is more for the martini-drinking,
cigar-smoking socialite. Located in the famous Mount Vernon
District, you can’t go wrong here if you’re in search of a
more selective, quasi-sophisticated nightspot.
